Individual Intensives in Los Angeles

Three focused weeks, for when once a week isn’t moving fast enough.

You’ve done the work of holding it together. What you haven’t had is time to look at it properly.

Weekly sessions suit most people. But some moments need more than fifty minutes once a week: burnout that has started to cost you, a decision with a deadline, a pattern that keeps winning.

An individual intensive gives you three weeks of concentrated work, close enough together that nothing has time to settle back into place.

How it works

Before.

We begin with a complimentary consultation and agree on the one thing these three weeks are for.

The three weeks.

Three 90-minute sessions a week, nine in all, in my Encino or Studio City office, or in your home through my concierge practice. A short check-in call between sessions keeps the work moving.

After.

A follow-up session about a month later. Some people continue with weekly therapy; others find they don’t need to.

How the three weeks unfold

  • Week one, where things stand. What you’re carrying, what it’s costing you, and what you want to be different by the end.
  • Week two, underneath. Where the pattern comes from, what it protects, and what keeping it costs.
  • Week three, doing it differently. Practicing the change between sessions, and planning how it holds once we stop.

The pace is set together in the first conversation, and adjusted as we go.

Who it’s for

  • High-functioning adults whose burnout or anxiety has started to cost them at work or at home
  • Anyone facing a decision with a deadline: a role, a move, a partnership, an ending
  • People in weekly therapy who sense the work has stalled and want a concentrated push
  • Those whose travel or schedule makes a steady weekly rhythm hard to keep

Privacy

Sessions can be set at quiet hours in the office, or held at home or another private setting through my concierge practice.

Three weeks, one focus

This is concentrated therapy on one thing. It isn’t a retreat, and it isn’t a quick fix.

If you’re in crisis, or need more support than outpatient therapy can offer, an intensive isn’t the right fit. I’ll tell you, and help you find what is.

Questions

Why three weeks?

Long enough to work underneath the problem and practice something new, and short enough to protect on a busy calendar.

Can I keep my current therapist?

Yes. If you’d like, I’ll be in touch with them before we start and once we finish, and you carry on with them afterwards.

Is it in person?

Mostly, in Encino or Studio City, or at home through my concierge practice. Ask about online options.

What does it cost?

We go over fees on the consultation call. It’s private pay.
