One focused conversation.
For the moment that calls for a clear, expert view, not ongoing therapy.
Not everything needs weekly sessions. Sometimes you need one conversation with someone who does this every day: a fresh look at where you are stuck, or help with the one thing that is right in front of you.
The Second Opinion
For when you're still stuck
You've done the work. You understand your patterns, maybe better than anyone. And you're still stuck.
This is one 90-minute session to look at what you've tried, what has shifted, what hasn't, and what may be missing. Within a week you receive a written recommendation. If you are working with a therapist, it is written for you to take back to them.
- You've been in therapy for a year or more and aren't sure it's working
- You've tried several therapists or approaches
- You want an outside view before deciding what comes next
It isn't a judgment of your therapist, and it isn't a way to change therapists. It is a clear look at the work.
The One Conversation
For one thing you've been carrying
You're not looking for therapy. You have one conversation coming, and you've been carrying it for weeks.
One session to prepare: what you need to say, what you're afraid will happen, and how to stay steady when it does. Then one short follow-up after the conversation has taken place.
- Telling your partner you want to separate
- Setting a boundary with a parent
- A conversation about money you keep postponing
- Telling a business partner you're leaving
How it works
A 15-minute call. Complimentary. We make sure a single session is the right fit.
Your session. In Encino or Studio City, or online across California, Nevada, and Oregon.
What you leave with. A written recommendation, or a follow-up once the conversation has happened.
Short-notice appointments are sometimes available. Single sessions are private pay, and fees are shared on the consultation call.
